Default Lab marine, ok? regards from Sweden!!

Hello!

I am writing to you from a cold Sweden! :-/
I've found an interesting Fountain at LAB MARINE, INC.. - BOAT
Grasonville, MD 21638th

Can anyone say if they are good or if I should not do business with them? Will transfer money to them from Sweden.

Then a contact in Baltimore will handle the freight.

I'm thinking of putting in an engine from the Viper SRT10 ..

Best regards Christian

LAB is a typical repossession place. They get the boat, put it in a field and advertise it a little for the bank. If you buy it you get no warranty or help after the sale. Since that boat appears to have been filled with water I would be concerned about stringer and transom condition so you really should have it surveyed.

Would definetly recomend a survey before buying that boat. Bank Repos are "As is where is" so you need to make sure you are some what happy with what you are getting. PM Bill Love (lovemachine) on OSO for a survey. He is local to the area and may have the time to fit it in. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

One more thing......if there are items found on a survey it is very unlikely the bank will fix any items. That may effect how you make an offer. Again let me know if I can help in anyway.

Here is Bill's website:

http://www.lovemachinemarine.com/

He is a good guy and is well versed in performance boats. The reason I am concerned about water is the staining on the cabin carpet, the water was at least 2-3 inches deep in the cabin, which could mean the boat sat with a large amount of water in it for quite some time.
