A Little Update..
I am still here..LOL. We took the motors out appx a month ago. Upon teardown we found out that the motors had 2 different set of heads on the engines. One engine had stock rockers and the other some cheap chinese roller rockers. Long story short, The motors are back, all freshened up, and they now have dart Iron Eagle 308 heads on the engines, and new Edelbrock air gap intakes. I also converted the engines to hydralic roller since they were flat tappet before as well. We are installing the motors back into the boat tonight and hopefully be on the lake Wednesday evening breaking in the new motors. Oh, they are also 468ci. now as well. After the break in, I will then get some new props for the new found power. Should be around 1100hp total.

The motors are running and we got the timing set yesterday evening. We ended up installing 2 new carbs and what a difference they make over the hydrabogs we had on there. If the weather holds out today we are going to the lake this afternoon to test her out and put some time on the motors. The cams I installed sound alot better than what was in there previously as well.

The weather held out for us on the lake. We road for about an hour. Got some good break in time in the motors. The motors with the new cams sound much better and run smoother as well. Time for some new props to get the top speed up a little.
