My Sonic is older and much slower... solid reliable motor but needs to be repowered for more speed....Mine has the wing which adds about another 250 lbs to the rear.... With twin 454's and 5 people on board I can run all over 60mph. I know Jimmy Davis has a much newer sonic with 500 efis and it runs mid to high 70's last I heard. I can't speak for the bullets but I scaled mine minus the trailer was 9300lbs. A few other things I really enjoy on the sonic is the walk around. It's nice not having to worry about falling off a waxed deck. As far as build quality.... Mine is superb; seriously it is 22 years and all original vinyl, gauges, paint, fresh water syste, bathroom, EVERYTHING still works and the only flaw I had was the screw they used. They were from www.pro-dec.com and have a snap that goes over the screw head. The screws were galvanized and after 20 years they had rusted. I recently just replaced every screw front to back for about $80 with all new caps and it's as good as new.
