Looks like Sterling is in the home stretch of this project.

What drives, IIRC 1500ftlbs is too much torque for the Merc 6.

Boat had 6's last time I saw it.

My guess, however, at least in terms of off-the-shelf rating, is Arneson.

Great power from a great engine builder, but wow is that ugly...

About 116 revs per second. That is screamin for a big block. I like how Slender the whole package ended up. Nice Job Mike & Crew. The Owner should be Really Happy :)

Yes it is. But it's worth noting that 7,000 rpm is peak. You probably wouldn't want to keep it there for anything resembling an extended period of time.
