Default whats the right alpha ratio for my boat?

I have a 1986 fourwinns liberator 241 that i am currently rebuilding and would like to know if anyone knows what would be the right gear ratio for this boat. It is going to be powered by twin mercruiser 305's and weighs 3100lbs excluding engines it has the right holes for alpha drives.

If it were me I'd get the best deal I could find and prop it accordingly. You'll probably end up with 1.5 ratio drives.

Also... don't shy away from bravos. The hole is the same, you just need to add 2 more bolt holes. I have seen some pretty smoking deals on used bravos.

the 1.5 would be right i have a formula 242 with a 454 with the alpha 1.5 and runs fine. I run a bravo 1 four blade 22p labbed a little you should be close with this set up.
