At what point does the FAA take over jurisdiction from the water police and demand a tail registry #??? kidding but not...
I remember, and really not all that long ago, when cat speeds danced between 102mph to 105ph was pushing a boat/power threshold and then the step was up 110-120 was like running at ludicrous speed - for this new generation of Skater creations -it's a slower cruise - nice to see creativity, technology and the need for speed alive and well! Not to offend anyone and I realize this is not the best place to pose a question of a different skater build - but how is the progress of the 412? Paint and power - Mild or wild? |

Hey Matt, Thanks for all of the other announcements and updates. Any news on how the baddest of all Skaters is coming? Well I guess it will be a close race between this one and the 1650hp 388SLW. Both will be very very fast and equally impressive.
Thank you! It was the dessert storm Poker run video 2011. |
For those who haven't seen the latest update, which is another thread started today, http://speedonthewater.com/new-boats...d-blowing.html.

From September 30: Sterling 1700-Powered Skater 388 Update: Dial-in Continues at David Wade Marine (http://speedonthewater.com/new-boats...de-marine.html) From September 13: Sterling 1700-Powered Skater Back on The Water This Week (http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...this-week.html). It's October 23. And I actually called David Wade last week for an update, but he wasn't in the office. I'm sure we'll touch base this week. I've used each of these stories from speedonthewater.com to start a thread, but I can certainly understand how you've missed them. Lots of threads on this site. |
