I have not check to see if the boat has shipped yet—planned and actual delivery schedules often vary in the custom go-fast boat world. But I plan on calling Peter Hledin this week and provide an update.

The boat may very well be done, it just might not be running yet. Hopefully you can get some info on it's current status!

Just curious, what happens when you loose a drive at +140,+160, or whatever WOT speed will be? Is it a recoverable incident?

We lost a prop shaft and prop at 130mph in a 40 MTI and nothing really happened, boat kept going straight and the rpm's hit the limiters.. Dont know what would have happened if the prop would have stayed on but quit spinning...

Broke a driveshaft at 160, just a lot of beating around and one motor on the limiter

is it true that the sterling engine outpower is over advertised? i heard a 1550 really only pushes out 1350 hp. any truth to this?
