Hi everyone, this is Mike's son Nick, thank you all so much for the many kind words, my sister Lisa and I can't explain how much it means to us right now. Charlie, that was truly a great day and story, thank you so much for sharing. He truly loved his 27' Magnum, and I'm never going to forget the day he called me up and told me to meet him in Cohasset Harbor because he had a "suprise". I was so happy to see him in it after selling off his 35' because it just didn't cut it for him. The last ride I took in it was at the end of last summer and I remember him opening the throttle and screaming across Nantasket, and him trying to point to the spedometer as we bounced (very proud that he broke the 80mph barrier!).
If anyone has any pictures or anything else that they'd like to share, feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Again, thank you all so much, it's very appreciated!!

I am still stunned by this tragic event. Please keep us posted on dates and places for the funeral arrangments.
We will have forever the memory of that day we all spent together and had such great fun. Those are the kinds of things that take the edge off this.

Hey all, this is Nick, Mike's son checking in. I can't tell you how much all the positive support means to us right now. The pictures and stories are great, my sister Lisa and I really appreciate everything. We know he loved being on the water but it's really great to see how much of an ambassador of the culture he was.
For those in the area, the wake will be Friday 4-8 in Pyne Kehoane Funeral Home in Hingham, and the funeral mass is Saturday at St. Paul's Church in Hingham at 10:30.

I've never met the fellow but ripped through same waters. I've read every remark in this thread and empathize with every one that has a connection or experience with Mike. I sure wish I had come across him to chit-chat over all the little things we all love to. God speed, many will miss you from what I read. As for the aweful comments I also read, F... em!
