The 28 ZX Donzi was not one of the models that had any handling issues,
as with ANY step bottom boat, DO NOT put it thru any real turns while the drives are trimmed down.

I have never heard anything bad about them except stress cracks around the dash. I think I've pretty much made my mind up on the zx if everything works out. If not I will maybe join yall's ranks of ownership at the beginning of 2012. Thanks for all the replies.

Again its not really a fair comparison. You might want to look around a bit more, lots of deals to be had...

The 28 Apache would be a good one if you can get it done. Perfect for your area, fresh water since refurb., and aluminum trailer. Worth a look if you can work out the $.

How do the hours compare on the two particular boats you are looking at?
