Default Whats the best deal out there??? Under $275K, over 38ft, 100mph, no bravos

Finally convinced my father to dump his intrepid and get into a fast boat. Some of the requirements are: 2000 or newer, no bravos, must go over 100mph, be bigger than 38ft, less than $275K.....PM me if you know of any deals........

Have the PP guys build you a brand new 38' Might be willing to dust off the molds for the right price.

PLENTY of used options too...used OL would be a great choice.

Scott's old 42 GTX would be another great value (Shogren has it too). Then again, I dont know if a sit-down no cabin Vee is what Adam's dad is really looking for either.

Scots right, but shogrens 42 GTX is hard to pass up at that price.....really looking to stay away from donzi and fountain. I don't like the low freeboard of the donzi, and everyone has a fountain...XXX is priced well but those 1200 might be too many headaches, and that underwater exhaust would have to be changed immediately haha

I dont know your dad, but given his previous boat, he most likely has some desire for a little space and comfort. Has he given any thought to a 43 or 46 BT or even a larger NT?

Not a BT but he was close to getting a triple diesel 50 nortech before buying the intrepid......him and my mom are over the whole staying on the boat thing but would still like to be able to bring 7-8 people if need be. The sitdown are priced so much lower though that it is making us consider one

with the ommission of donzi and fountain along with the 100mph / 38' requirements...you are really only left with the major names:

skater
cigarette
nortech
outerlimits
mti
hustler

With reference to cabin space. Not sure what your father is looking for, but if he wants the room, catamarans are likely out. So the list would shrink to:

cigarette
outerlimits
hustler
nortech

Thats the approach i would use to look. Just my 0.02.
