Potter.
If I were building a new boat or repowering, I would put a pair of Ron's 800/850 EFI naturally aspirated motors in. Right now I have 575s he bumped up to 700's and they are amazing. N/A or Blown, Carb or Injected. http://www.potterperformance.com/index.html |
Bob Marada at Marine Kinetics. Hes a very knowledgeable, friendly guy. He built my N/A 548. We took it on a 160mile boat ride on the 4th of July and it ran perfect. Not affiliated with him in any way. Just a satisfied customer. Ian :coolcowboy:

Price a set of Mercury's 850's, TWICE the cost of a good set of custom builts. I have three Eddie Young motors and love them. Not bad mouthing anybody elses stuff but who else will come to you and do the final tune in the boat.
"Eddie Young does". |
