Default Could you drive a boat with NO SOUND ???? maybe electric ?

I have often wondered what it would be like to drive a big go fast boat that made no sound. I'm not sure it would be cool anymore. Pull them big blower motors out and add some electric motors and their hardware.

What if,,, someone had a reliable electric system that could make a boat run at a reasonable speed.

would anyone want it?

I wonder if suckin gas, haulin ass, and makin' thunderous noise is what it's all about.
I guess we could get some big subwoofers and the sound track of a race boat and play it loud! Or mybe just a little Ipod with the sound pumped into your headset......

It's called a Sailboat.

And no, I don't like driving one.

If it was a fast boat........yes. While I like the sound, the performance is the thing.

I would miss the sound. My last boat had OB's and while I like the sound of a couple of screaming OB's, they can't compare to the sound of warmer over BB's!

X2. Plus it would be kind of fun to be "stealth".
