A Skater inboard boat can run 75 mph at 3000 rpm, 85 mph at 3500. 95 mph at 4000. Some cats will run 100 at 3800. So you can run a cat for 50 miles at 3500 at 85 mph.
Some cats will run 100 mph at 3500 and accelerate extremely fast.

I've met Matt a few times at claudios and he's a great guy and the boat came out awesome. Great job on the rigging George!!

Frank and I run together during most of the runs and we have suprised a few of the big vee bottoms over the last few years! Looking forward to doing it again this year! I personally can't think of a more fun boat to drive than a 30 to 32 cat with outboards.

The two smallest boats, yours and mine, are often at the front.
