A Skater inboard boat can run 75 mph at 3000 rpm, 85 mph at 3500. 95 mph at 4000. Some cats will run 100 at 3800. So you can run a cat for 50 miles at 3500 at 85 mph.

Some cats will run 100 mph at 3500 and accelerate extremely fast.
