That Celebration deal sounds so good I'm about to do that and let you use my boat. :lolhit:

I have gone by land the last two years, I enjoy looking at all the boats along the docks. You could hop on a shuttle to the celebration to take you out along the course. I wouldn't be afraid to go by land, it surely is worth your time if you enjoy drooling over classic, clean, high HP performance boats! Captain Rons is a good spot, however, doesn't have the view of the course like shooters offered. Have a good time at the lake!

We usually go by boat on Saturday and then by car on Sunday that way we get see some of everything.

If you go on the Celebration, mention to the Captian not to hook a bouy rope into his prop or rudder like he did a few years back when it was still in front of Shooters. That was a CF that almost turned dangerous for the surrounding boats in the raftoff.

Some friends went one year and trailered their 38 from KY - had a good time. Next year they left their boat at home and rented a pontoon and had a blast.
