I boat at LOTO and I say destin!!! The lake is cool but nothing beats The water In Destin. Plus you can hang at Crab Island and dont have LOTOS water patrol!!The option of open water and the bay are great!!Anyone on here that says different hasnt left the lake!!

Go to Legendary marina.you dont have to put your trailer in the salt and they treat you like a king!!

LOTO is easier on your budget, you can rent a house with a dock in your back yard to park your boat at for not too much cash. There are more places(restraunts/bars/boat parties) to go. But, that water is sweet in Destin. Tough call.

You can do the same in Destin. We rented the same 4 bedroom house for the last 3 years. Split it between 4 couples and it was cheaper than staying at the Ramada and having to pull the boat out of the water every day.
