Default VIDEO: AMSOIL #77 tight course in Port Huron, MI

Hey Everyone!

Just edited up footage from last weekend of the race in Port Huron, Michigan. It was a great site and the US and Canadian officials are working hard to make it even better and more established next year! Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnR3JJN2z1Y

PS Some of you cat guys will like the tunnel view. See how the boat reacts to turning, wakes, speed, etc.

This may sound like a dumb question but did you usevthe suction mount on the tunnel or do you have a molded mount installed? Great video, boat sounds awesome.

This video was awesome! The engine sounds were crisp and loud, no wind noise, the cockpit picture was extremely clear and gave everyone the true picture of what a throttleman has to do and how the driver works in unison with the Throttleman, great shots of the stern and tunnel. This is such a great video and has everything that a performance lover wants to see and hear and and is educational to all others who know nothing about the physical and emotional demands of Offshore Powerboat Racing. I look forward to seeing more video coverage of this type from others in the future. Thank you to Amsoil, Teague Custom Marine and all other sponsors for making this available for everyone to enjoy and I did enjoy this, thanks you again guys.

Thumbs up

Wow. Great video meaning both quality and the footage itself. After a few minutes, I was thinking the only thing this is missing is some picture in picture. Almost on queue, there it was.

I saw the length, and figured I'd watch 2 minutes then head out to mow the lawn. Let's just say the lawn mowing got delayed.

wow thanks everyone for the feedback! Im glad you enjoyed it!

The oil we use in the AMSOIL #77 525EFI's as well as all new engines rolled out of Teague Custom Marine is 15w-50 Dominator. I highly recommend it.

The tunnel camera was the suction mount, with some shrink wrap tape on it for extra insurance. I wanted to test the tunnel view at a smooth water race. So far I haven't lost any cameras I would like to keep it that way LOL

What other angles do you guys want? I'm realizing these things will stay pretty much anywhere... on the transom at the drive/prop? ideas?

VERY, very cool!

Not have any cat experience, I was surprise to see how little trim adjusting there was.

Great video. Congrats on the win.
It looked like Bob was gonna shove the throttles through the bottom of the boat and out of the escape hatch at the start.
