Turbo ilmores, i think they would give the 1350's a run for the money.

The Porsche engine thing's been done before. They tend to use 928 engines though, not the flat sixes.

I can't find it, but i think Porsche actually made a few 928 powered boats themselves (not Porsche Design, but the car company).
I used to have a great wallpaper of a boat, hatch off, with a couple of Torque motors throwing a huge roost. I wish I could find that.
I remember back in the 80s in Point Pleasant Beach, there was a raceboat that showed up for the Bennihana with twin Lambo V12s. I can't remember which one. I remember on the back of the semi trailer, they had dual lambo crests. As a kid, I thought that was super cool.

Rolls Royce/Merlin V12, a WOW factor and would actually work well in a offshore boat.

Not much use for anything except good old American iron
in my boat like the twin BBC I have now.
What do I think of all these exotic european cars and their
engines?
What's the difference between me in my Dodge Caliber and the guy in the (Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, whatever)?
I know my car is a POS.

I was referring to the "Cammers", Chrysler whined and cried til they booted these bad boys from nascar. I think they were only used in drag racing from then on.
