    Cougar Alumni

Howdy Boys just joined today.I'm an ex-Cougar alumni-used to work for Brownie.Spent some time on Popeyes and Mercruiser Specials teams.Hence the Catman 53 I was the lead man on the 58 footer for Brownie and Steve Ridgway. As well as the Peter Styvasant -Fayva Shoes- Michilobe Light and many others.I have a bunch good pictures of those days .I know alot of you would like to see.Brownie launching the 58 with Nick Miller.Morales and Idonie posing for winning photos.
Old Smitty standing in the cockpit at launching the P.S.at Cougar.Look forward to sharing in some of the old stories.

    Welcome aboard.

Cougar alu cats eeh? That's pretty ol' school. Wasen't the boat Bob Kaiser won the worlds with in '87 a Cougar alu cat? If you have any info on that one, I'm all ears. Personally I think it's the best looking race boat ever - period.

Some Cougar Trivia: What was the name of the Systems Cat Before Kaiser bought it? It raced in Key West under a different name.

I believe it was Sprinter. Systems then became Seahawk 2.

I recall The Collection became Seahawk 1, and later Team Seahawk.
