If the petition is not working, the best way to protest this is to do a lil bit of civil disorder or a civil protest. Kinda like a sit in. Have a bunch of boats tie up to the docks and refuse to leave. Call the media down. If they forcibly try to remove anyone or their boats they can be held accountable in court for injuries or damages done. Get in touch with an attorney ahead of time or even contact the ACLU to see if they would support you in this type of civil protest. They love this sort of thing cause it gets their name in the news and it gives you some legal backing.

The key is to maintain your cool, stay peacefull and let them loose their cool. Get them to look like the a$$hats they are. You don't want to look like the badguy in this action. And like I said, check with a criminal attorney and civil attorney prior to doing this to see if it would violate any tresspass laws or any other arrestable offense. Then decide if this would be a valuable tactic or not.

I will look into that.
We are currently working on a letter writing campaign and the petition. A couple of guys on OSO have the 10 letter package, there are 120 Postal letters sent that I know of that should be arriving through this week.

Another possible angle to look into... Typically when a grant is awarded and the stipulations of that grant are violated, the recipiant can be forced to repay that grant money to the Granter. I dont know how the exact process works but I am sure it would require the Granter to request that the stipulations are met or a full repayment of that money. Im sure if the word gets out that Public money was given and is being misappropriated for a private club which is bullying the public, there will be a nice backlash against them. sometimes you gotta throw that granade and see where the pieces fall.

that has been brought up with ODNR and USfish and game. Getting them to react is like waiting on continental drift.
