Felt it sitting at my desk in Norwalk, CT. Thought somebody was working on the roof!

Wife was in a bed, bath and beyond in Williamsburg - said everything was falling off the shelves.
We felt it here in SE virginia - knocked 2 of the Nuclear Power generators off line. (I assume they have a sensor that kicks them out) |
Felt in Northeast Georgia.

I am working in a new hospital here in Charlottsville Va. it was pretty intense, never been in one before the ground was viberating and it sounded like a train was running over your head. I was outside have'n a smoke leaning on a 26 foot Penske truck and it started rocking side to side.
They evacuated the new building and shut us down for the day so something good came from it, early day!:drink: They say the epicenter was about 60 miles from us. All in all it was kinda cool:eek: |
Some damage to buildings in Fredericksburg, Va., my sisters office in town had the ceiling collapse in her conference room and some bricks come out of the wall.
|
our bldg here in Cranbury NJ shook a bit..strange feeling for sure!

As long as the real one is about 50 years from now I will be just fine. We get little ones all the time that you don't feel but I doubt we get anymore big ones soon. The east coast isnt trying to snap off and be an island like 1/3 of Calli.

If it wasn't for the pollution I would hope D.C. would slip into the ocean.
