I had advertised this old steering wheel in the swap shop. Received payment from a member here (Our Scarab 34) and went out to the garage to get it and box it up to ship.

I get out there, pick it up......awe chit, it's stained!!!

I had sat it down on top of an old Poker Run sticker and my guess is that the heat and humidity made the stain transfer over. :(

My wife and I have tried Swipes, Clorox and Magic erasers for the last three days with very little results. :(

Before anyone says it, I've refunded Aaron's $$$

Anyone have any ideas before i throw the phucking thing in the trash?

Laquer thinner. If that doesn't work, put it on your golf cart. Seriously, the thinner my take a little color out,but should take the ink out.

Gasket Remover very light then wipe off with water. Took out purple stain from a throw rug on my white vinyl.

white vinegar and sunlight or oxi clean and sunlight, clorox cleanup, wd 40. some inks are protein based so need something to break it down. then use conditioner on it.
