Bad day on the River
 

:( :mad: Well gang, did my day blow!! Blowing my XZ drive at 56 mph, 3300 rpm. Takin the family for a little cruise when 20 min into the ride, a loud noise and bam it stopped the motor in a heartbeat. "Oh S_H_I_* what happened"? Thank goodness for cell phones and old friends. Called a buddy, who called another buddy, within 20 min we had help. A very pleasant cruising speed on the return. At least it didn't rain, nor was the water ruff.

Well, at least it didn't happen at Havasu!

How strong is the IMCO extreme SC upper? Will it sustain 1100 hp? Very interested in info on this product.

Damn Butch, I am sorry to hear about that! That is the second one in just over a week! Talk to Eric. He just did a bunch of research while replacing his.

When I called Imco about the sc drive I was told that it can handle up to 800 hp safely.......Now they did not say that it could not handle more, so I would give them a call in the am.

I would also look at the B-max drive.
