Thanks Captain ~ These lights are definitely the coolest accessory that I've ever installed on any of my boats... it adds a really cool ambience around the boat both at the docks and while taking a cruise at night. I'm not sure what they cost now, but when I purchased these last year, they ran me 3k including the controller. It's more than I wanted to spend on LEDs for my boat, (!) but I was obsessed with making purple water behind my boat, and I really liked the idea that I didn't have to drill any holes into my transom. Now that the lights are installed, I find myself using some of the other colors that I didn't even think I would like... while on-plane, the red LEDs actually look like flames coming out of the back of my boat. I lucked-out on the installation because it was just friends & family helping me, so it only cost me a few cases of beer. :drink:

Does anyone make the color changing leds that aren't $2,000 or more?

Is there any quality kits that don't involve cutting any holes?
