Lake Cumberland was a blast

I think Lake Cumberland was one of the best poker runs I have ever attended. The dock party, everybody being in one area, the long runs between card stops, the clearly marked card stops, the naked women in the the raft up, the different boats, the super friendly people, the weather, the water, the house "botels", the helpful marina people, the 100 octane and the beautiful surroundings! WOW

Agreed, this yr was awesome. I would like to say thanks to all the bad a$$ boats that put on a great run. It is so great to see these guys show up.

:( Missed it this year, but yes it's one of the best in the country on one of the most beautiful lakes in the country.

One of the top poker runs in the country - no doubt! This year was another great one and it drew a lot of really awesome boats. It's a must attend for me every year.

How late does the boating run until down there? Didn't quite have the boat dialed in for this run but thinking of making a late season run somewhere before the month is up. Not much going on up here in MI

Glad everyone had a blast sounds like a great venue

The boating is usually very nice on Cumberland thru most of Oct - after that you take your chances. As for swimming though, we better get an Indian summer pretty quick or getting in the water might be tough come Oct.

I've linked my photos in a couple of other threads already, but here's another link.

Some of my favorite shots.

define "boating"? The party scene is pretty much over. I've got friends who drop their boat off after poker run to be winterized. Party cove pretty much ends after poker run.

Lake is pretty empty for the rest of the season. Water is getting chilly quick this year with the less than hot last couple of weeks and bunch of rain. My kids will still be tubing till at least October, and last year it was November before they decided it was too cold to get in the water anymore. With that, it as absolutely beautiful on the lake all the way through Thanksgiving most years. Fall color peaks right around the first of November. Last year I didn't take my boat off the water till the first weekend in December.
It's all in what you are are wanting.
