There's a fair amount of big power supras in Austin. Lot's of them have turbo's that are so large that they won't spool without nitrous. Why not just spray it up on plane? It wouldn't be a very good all around boat, but for top speed runs I would think it would work ok.

Are you running any sort of waste gate setup? How are you controlling your boost? If you are running on a stand alone setup, I have seen most of them with built in boost control by RPM, you should be able to limit the pressure without surging.

Can you run a twin turbo setup with a smaller turbo that makes less boost at lower rpm's and then the bigger turbo kicks in and makes the big boost up high.

I haven't kept up with turbo technology, but I swear I remember somebody used to do this.

That setup is called sequential and that's the way that engine comes from the factory. I've seen it done with bigger aftermarket turbo's in vehicles before.

I was watching on the video feed sunday when you made the run,
I told a buddy of mine you were running a turbo six since I had read about your boat beforehand,he was blown away by your pass.
Cool stuff,,nice to see a Supra engine that isnt a Dyno queen like most..

Great job!

Not an import lover by any means, but that boat is just too cool. Very impressive pass, can't wait to see what you can do w/ full power.

Also, that is a very good looking gel scheme on the Eliminator, one of my favorites. Did you design that or find it used?
