Im glad they are moving and headed in. I do sincerely feel sorry for having to abort the run but Im sure once we find out the real reason we will all understand and appreciate their efforts.

My .02 guess -- broken drive/lost prop

I calculate their distance off Cape May at just under 90 miles. Sorry they had to abandon their attempt but hope they will try again once the issue is sorted out. Bravo for trying !

All the best,

Bob

I get 26.889 mph for their last stint so they're running faster than they were last night and will be home safe and sound soon.
94 miles from Ocean City Md.
Great news!

A ship 120 miles to their east reported 14 Knot winds which would make for some pretty rough seas for a boat that size. That would have been the area they were in last night. Most of the data that I can find closer to shore is showing single digit wind speeds and they will soon be on the continental shelf so I expect seas will only get better for them on this mornings return. Lets hope so,

Bob

Awww, bummer!
Sorry to see them have to turn back, but I'm sure it was for a damn good reason and they made a sound judgment call.

At least they're making good headway on their return, so that's comforting to see them still running at a good speed.

Should be back on dirt w/a bloody mary in their hands in a couple hrs.

Best of equip, best of experience Vs the sea!

Just checking in this morning. Man, they're tracking straight as an arrow, too. Good sign. Glad to see 'em making good progress!

I'm showing roughly 45 miles from land at 9am ET. Very good!

Lets talk about stress! I am Nick's wife Priscilla and I am stressed. I'm sure they are all safe but not hearing from them and not having the live feed like we thought is stressful. I will let everyone know when I hear from them. Thanks for all the well wishes. I'll just sit here and drink another cup of coffee!
