Outerlimits sets new record
 
Outerlimits now holds the round Long Island record with an Sv 43! They broke the record by about a minute and a half! Congrats to Joe Cibellis and Joe Sgro for running an awesome race!

uh...im confused. when was the official start and stop?

they didnt average anywhere near 90 mph to beat the 3hr 6 min record. :confused:

not to take away from the winners but should it read vee bottom record?

They broke the record fair and square. I'm still waiting for the official start and stop time. Outerlimits is the new record holder for the entire race cat or vee!

I think you're wrong Dan. I'd suggest waiting for the offical results. They ran about 50-55 across most of the south shore. I dont see how they could have averaged 90 either. At best I would guess they might have broken the vee hull record.

Let's wait for the offical results before beating the drum. ;)

congrats to JOE &JOE racing:coolcowboy: for the new record. there lucky I wasn't ready to run this year:party-smiley-004:;););). glad it was nice out and not as rough as last year.I hope more people will run next year and sign up early for the discount price, I will. I plan on the bimini/ miami race just need to talk Gerry into it. congrats to all the teams for running.
