I was going to start a thread to get a roll call on who was going, but you beat me to it. So who going to be there and in what.

It will be me and my dad (owner) and probably a few others. We will be in a white, red and silver 28' Magic Cat.

Tbikini and I are signed up and "planning on attending". Not sure if we will actually make it or not. Thunder EnLightening may not be done in time (our new 37 Active Thunder). If she's done, this will be the first time she'll be in the water with the exception of the sea trial.

I am considering trailering out there for it. Looks like a good haul. Is their a hotel on the lake or condos to rent??

Default Hotel Info

Check out www.kentuckylake.com. The list several places to stay. Kentucky Dam Village (poker run starts from there), Moors restort just down the lake, etc, etc. Let me know if you need any help or anything.

Is a one day trip do-able? Is it worth it?

I am within a few hours drive, but alocating several days in not possible.

From Nashville, I would say a one dayer is possible. KY Dam Marina is just a few miles from I-24. It would just be a long day with having to be there early for the pre run meeting. Then you would not come back till after dark. There are plenty of super cheap motels nearby that go for under 50 bucks. I would highly recommend staying one night, preferably Sat because of the party afterwards. Next time I am down that way, I will get the numbers for some the cheap motels and post them or check out the previously mentioned website.
