Rumor on the street is they do have rights to use the name. So far I have not seen one thing that Frisini has done that has not impressed me, as well as how many others out there are taking a risk to improve our beloved sport in these "down times"....... Some of the best and biggest companies have been erected in down economic times, and I can't wait to see what Frisini comes up with next. No negativity here and keep up the good work guys, I as well as many others really appreciate and respect the effort and work you are putting into the powerboat world.. ROCK ON !!!!!

Aronow 47
Charlie thank you for your kind words and your absolutely right, the molds have been tucked away for a very long time now. They are in great shape for as old as they are and we were very excited when we heard of the possibility of being able to build this boat again.
We acquired the molds from one of Don's original employees from USA Racing Team who built the 39 Blue Thunders and the 45 Aronow offshore. He purchased the molds directly from Gary Galbrecht.
The boat was originally called the 45 Aronow, but as others have stated the LOA is 47' and we will be marketing it under todays standards. If you look at the photo you posted of the plugs being made you will see the boat has a very distinctive body line near the chine.
Thanks to everyone's kind words and support, we will do everything we can to create an incredible boat that everyone can be proud of.
