How did I overlook this post! LOL!!!
As far as steps from the maker in a Apache Powerboat.......not in this lifetime
As far as Ben staying out of the pen.......ditto!

Find the Videos? No....ok, it's back to the bs file for Air Time. And on with more of the non step thread.

its easy go to the racing section, go to P1 and take your pick I listed a few race names last night . lots of vids in 07/ 08 to 10.I don't have the time to post them on this thread. trying to get my saber vids transfered to dvd so I can post them in the Saber section. yes they are a nice boat made well. like I posted before someone should have them build a new 47. I talked to Doug to day. since we have been trying to figure out our issues with handling. hope to run it sunday but its tough with my brother inlaw laying in the ICU, so thats got me busy, trying to talk his wife into sending him to Boston to M G, before his heart stops for good. but thats my issue, this week sux, with 3 lost souls now. back to the bs I hope to dial in my saber this week or next, its getting cold anyone have a righthand transom lifting prop like a p5 or 4 blade ,DOUG agreed its worth a shot. all mine are bow lifting and since we can't bury the bow with the 380ks:eek:. a few sand bags and p5 might work. then I'll have to sell my props. joker's 47 Apache had the best paint job of all the 47s I have seen, maybe Dan can post pics from when it was traded in to OL. the owner stripped it I believe and used the 6s and blower motors on a OL. the new 31 sutphens are real bad azz looking.I had a chance to buy the sister boat to Boxer. but had lots of money tied up on the Gellner motor and konrad ace.:grinser010:plus it rides awesome the 31. the 30cig comes non step too. got to run check on people. godspeed to Joey another soul gone to heaven. its been a sad week.:(:(

Appreciate the unlucky that have endured the ultimate price for doing what they love. I think a moment of silence is deserved...

comache, quit your bull**** with making jokes, honestly, the sport has suffered a loss, don't get in on the fact the apaches run in rough water, that's 80mph, try running a real speed in a vee or a step.....over 100...

Then talk, those that have felt the loss deserve a moment of silence, and I've sad that in several threads...quit being such a pompous ******* the 80s are over, your slow heavy pigs are not the king, skaters, outer limits, fountain, all the real manufacturers (pant era, anyone who i forgot) the real people that keep the racing alive....you may joke about a boat coming apart, but at least people lived, quit your *ucking attitude, and stop making a laughing argument for those that really run..

For those that Race, WE SALUTE YOU...RACE IN PEACE...

LOL!

I'd have to disagree, Ben was racing Cats in the end also, so Steps would've come along on the V bottoms unless Team Apache would've stopped V-bottom production almost to nil on Bennys orders. Remember that in the mid to late 80's the Cat frenzy had cought even Aronow.

IMO would be cool to see a Apache hull with 2-3 steps and see how it performs, as it has already rocker in the bottom it should be a no-brainer regarding results. IMO Classic hull lines and new bottoms would be killer in these days for the Old school Fans wanting new. Thenagain... who in their right minds wants a pleasure boat, especially an open V running 120+. I'd have mine with a Canopy, race seats, belts, oxygen masks, a Hans aid and full helmet. Presto... looking at race Fountains and Super Vee.

I'm Happy with Apaches being in the sub 120 territory, 116 was the tops for Predator with 6's which is quite insane already. Normally one would run high 80's with 3-5's and 850+ hp on a race setup. I reckon no passenger likes even those speeds, at least I haven't found any. Eric has got his Yellow warpath running good also with basically finetuning. More cubic inches and props basically, and I love the setup and the statement it makes at 106+ (?). Who needs more in ultimate bragging rights as the sea will always slow everyone down to 80's or less, even OL43's ? But gotta give credit to them as we speak despite being a fan of old school looks.
