A bunch of people make the carbon fiber but not sure who makes the pearl white.

IMO alcantra is difficult to keep clean. had it as a headliner in a vehicle. picks up dirt and didnt seem to wear well even as a headliner. from my experience anyways. i would go vinyl. their is obvious pros and cons to each. good luck in your search.

Havnt had a problem with it yet or in any of the boats.

What is it like after you sit in it with a wet saltwater bathing suit?

Honestly I don't know. I don't swim off my boat nor do most of our customers that have the alcantara.

I have had alcantara in several vehicles. It wears very well.I think in Dan's boat it looks great. In some other boats, it can look cheap and pimpish. It all depends on the design. Carbon doesn't wear well and regular vinyl seems to hold up the best. I would do a vinyl/alcantara combination if it was me.

P.S. I think the alcantara steering wheels look like $hit.

I like the combo of the two as well but what's wrong with being pimpish

Good to hear. With regard to the alacantra getting wet...my bet is it will get hard when it dries. Just look at how suede shoes do when weathered. They dull and get rigid.
