any of the top brands are very good boats.. really depends on what you want to do with it..

I was going to buy the skater "recovery". Have never owned a powerboat.

$12,000/year for $300k coverage.

I budgeted about $50k/year just to own the boat (maintenance, engine and drive reserves, fuel, etc.)

Deal fell through. Pending a deal on an Outerlimits...... I was told insurance would be 1/2 that.

I cant believe the insurance was only 12k. And I'm 99% sure you cant get insurance on a cat if you havent worked your way up. With that being said I dont think you'll be able to get into a fast V......

I would think your insurance on a cat like that would run you $30-50000 for the season. Cat guys chime in plz...
