Default Trailering Alert- Recall

A manufacturer of tire valve stems has begun a nationwide recall. These stems are cracking and separating, causing rapid deflation. One fatality has already been connected to this issue. This affects 6 million valve stems dating back to mid-2006.

Check those trucks & trailers.

Chris,
thanks for the heads up. Your always seem to be looking out for your OSO brothers! I'll check those valve stems, before I move our boats this weekend out of IKE's path!

Thanks Chris for the info. I wonder if that might have coused my flip on the highway last year.

A friend of mine bought a new f150 and 3 of the valve stems on the truck have gone bad. He took it to the dealer ship and they would not replace them. He had new ones put on all four tires.

But who wouldn't gladly go out of pocket on something like thi?. I mean, that would be much better than finding out the hard way.
