Question Grease ??????

doing Tie Down disc's tonight and fresh bearings
what's the best grease for my fresh water use
I need cartriges because I have a bearing greaser tool
for new bearings

is this an upgrade from drums? if so, please post your experience. i am on the verge of doing the same thing. where did you buy your parts?

It appears he is upgrading to West Marine's "Tie Down" Stainless disc brakes!! Tie down is the brand name & they are sold thru West Marine. The calipers are aluminum so there is no corrosion like in surge brakes. I am doing the same thing only with Kodiak's cause of a heavier boat!. The price difference was not significant.
