looks cool, i wonder if the top will be a polycarbonate like a wind screen or was just shown clear for illustrations.... would be cool but would need some tint...very good looking..

Yea, like I said, I'm only anthusiest, not a boat builder. But I think when you look at the various cat companies building V CC's there's something to be said. Not saying I don't disagree a cat CC isn't cool (like the fresini model - which is pretty bad azz). just saying that the builders build what they think (and know) will sell.

Ive been on and own a Cat CC.. I prefer them for drifting, vs a mono at rest...and the ride is superior in 2-3's vs the same size mono...actually they ride and have the room of a2-3' larger mono. The cats Im talking about go 40 - 50 mph. There are always trade offs, and the market share is less than 3%, but growing. Im not sure how a hi-perf cat would do in this market, time will tell. Jeff

Do you think that it may have been in order to make room for the cabin under the center section of the boat as it said in the article? I have not been in alot of cats, but I think that would be pretty tough to design into one.
