wow, thats a labor of love right there. Theres actually several of those around lake erie. Fantastic 'ol boat but ya you'd need a full time team of detailers

theres lots of those old lads around here too......I know its the way they came but they should ditch the white hull, leave them natural wood, looks much better.

Probably watched that video a dozen times since it was uploaded.
I have long admired these old Chris Craft cabin cruisers and boats of similar design.
It seems a shame that this style of boat has completely given way to the European express variety that dominates the market.
This article makes a great point.
Here is a real neat interview with the designer of Chris Craft's first Commander, the 38.

Imagine how great these cruisers would be with a true deep-V bottom, and a pair of 540s with Volvo DP drives or Arnesons.

These old wooden cruisers would be excellent in fiberglass.
