Steve, You could not be more correct in everything you stated... There is room for improvement, racing is not just racing, they did die doing what they loved BUT they shouldn't have!!! And yes, the Gratton's are truly a unique family and a strong family...

The worst week that the history of racing powerboats can remember.
Richie is right in saying that something substantial must be done for safety.
Even the technical regulations should be revised.
Last year in Class 1 a similar incident happened as to the Big Thunder.
Just too much instability and a gust of wind to take off a craft that needs to go on water instead.
However, we take a break remembering Bob Morgan,Jeff Tillman and Joey Gratton. They Rest In Peace.
