As others have stated, it is unbearably hot in the sun. Since you are asking about its use in a high performance boat, I would be curious as to how much it weighs per linear foot.

Teak is better w/ boat shoes ON.
I guess this is your other idea compared w/ the cushioned cockpit flooring? If its for the AT, i wouldnt do the cushioned floor... not to walk around on. |
Thanks for the input storm, I was kind of thinking the same thing. Maybe do tye teak with a padded snap in. Now I would have both. Or PPI makes the mitigator stuff in 2x1 ft squares for under your feet

Mahogany Pretty but a skating rink when it got wet NK |
I like it, but not as much as I would enjoy a nice paded matting with pirelli over top. Function over form, if you will. That faux teak won't be very forgiving on the knees in rough water.

Active Thunder already beat your Active Thunder to it with the flooring. Thought you AT guys knew every build out there and whats in it. lol Anyways another good looking AT, maybe this can give you a good idea of what it looks like.

That's why I'm thinking the teak with some throw pads for rough water boating :drink:
