The coolteak is very light colored, and that's the one I would go with. I def wouldn't do any of the darker styles

If the CoolTeak will not burn your feet as claimed, then I say go for it. The heat is the only issue I have with the flooring. Otherwise I love it.

I didn't feel like re-reading the whole thread, so if someone else already mentioned this, sorry for the repeat....
There is a nice shot of a New Active Thunder 33 Evolution w/twin Yamaha Outboards in the new issue of "Sport Boat" Magazine. It has the teak look floor and it looks very, very nice. The boat itself has a very classy look to it. Found this pic surfing the web, but can't find one of the cockpit. http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifieds/files/41599.jpg |

What company makes this boat? It is beautiful. |

This 44 OL was finished with a faux teak cockpit and cabin flooring. The company was Nu Teak. The material is lightweight, cool on the feet & install was nice. When it gets damaged or stained, you just "Buff" it out with some sand paper and steel wool and the finish is restored effortlessly.
I think it creats a classy look that is functional as well. |
