If the effects of ethanol are not so bad as those "people" are saying, then why do Mercury's and Volvo's testing results show pretty much exactly the opposite. I think a lot of boaters here on OSO should read those recent results and get "educated on ethanol". The question of a substitute for race fuels is not really the issue here considering 99% of all recreational boats do not use race fuels!
Eventually the real problems of ethanol especially E-85 will sink in to most of this group of boaters and then they will cry like babies - why didn't anyone tell us! ???
