Hey Ryan
Can't wait to see your new toy.....I bet she's beautiful! 300's or 2.5's
I know of two lil' friends that are looking forward to meeting her as well.
You going to be in Sarasota for the Run? Party at Dan's house!

So, has anyone run the AMT and also the 28 Skater, 30 Motion and 30 Spectre to see how they all compare? How do they rate in terms of performance in calm, rough and mixed water? Which is faster in real-world conditions? Who has the best fit and finish?

I've run ALL of the boats you mentioned and they all have there qualities. The Skater is the fastest for sure, but also the smallest and most exspensive. The 30 Motion is pretty fast (a good design) a good price and the way they incorporate the deck and cockpit is neat, some QC issues have arisen in the past. The Spectre is an awesome all around boat lots of creature comforts, nicely rigged, great fit and finish and a fair price, just maybe not quite as fast in FLAT water. The AMT is the newest of all these designs. Taking alittle of the attributs of all together. Probably the most stylish. The no rubrail is a big undertaking. The performance numbers a where they should be. The price is similar. FOUR years running stock class national champions.

The Amt does have very nice lines
just for perspective:
My new 30 Spectre 2x 300x is starting the dialing in process at 109mph (gps. pictures to prove)with 15 x 32's at 6500rpm. 17#s pressure. We just recieved the new Mercury Racing (specials) for testing last week bringing the diameter down to 14 3/4 which brought Dans 2 x 2.5 boat to 106 at 7500 half tanks 15#'s pressure. These boats are weight sensitive and are much larger boats than the Skater and Amt. We are confident "The Judge" will hit its 112mph mark (GPS) mark. And Dan Lawrence's "Trust Me" will do 108 in full Recreational Dress
Not bad for a full size 30 foot boat with 600hp. we'll settle the flat water issue when I run into Mike Anderson (local 28 w/300's) One of these weekends.
I am currently struggling with some trim issues and won't run her out until I'm confident of my trim level is accurate.
Back to the AMT.. have they had any luck finding the stolen one? Will there be any at the PRA event in Sarasota or Ft Meyers.
