Naturally aspirated Skaters video

Rod Karnofel's ex APBA Super Cat 36' Skater (former Fountain/Mercury raceboat) w/ 763ci naturally aspirated/single carb/pump gas motors and #6 Mercs against my 588ci naturally aspirated/single carb/pump gas motors (Sterlings) and ASD #7s. Obviously the outcome would be much different if we were in rough water! And by today's standards with huge hp blower/turbo motors, these boats are slow.........but they're still fun. |
Still looks like they were both moving at a pretty good pace

Fantastic Vid, I loved the boats passing the blow boater, thas the best part! They sounded great!

NICE!! N/A :coolcowboy:

How much power to run 150 plus that must be 800 plus. 150 is pretty fast for only 588's. I had a 598 with 750hp so I guess they could be 800 plus.
