In case you missed it, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...ewsstands.html.

Apologies for the shameless self-promotion. (I'm the editor.)

Should be at the major outlets including Barnes and Noble, but I will find out for you. Stay tuned.

Vicki Newton, the associate publisher, and I are hoping to have single-issue sales up and running on the web site in time for the spring and summer issues. It's not there yet, but trust me we're working on it.

Subscription offerings are a longer-term goal, but we are pushing that, too.

In the meantime, I'll do my best to help you find it.

I was a longtime Powerboat mag sub and back in the day it was a nice read and then became a joke . Hotboat was cool because they would show real readers rides in depth , too bad it went away . Never heard about your mag and hope its worth the paper its printed on ! I hope it does not have 2 million dollars rides that the real world cant afford and the only reason they get press is because of payment by MFG . Trust me we are the 99% and could care less about a 2 million dollare 51 sportyacht . Real boats please !

When the magazine was sold last spring, the new publisher, Bonnier, announced it would not continue publishing it. I was mildly (OK, severely) panicked. Bonnier subsequently decided to bring it back, but I'd already taken the position as editor of Sportboat, where I'm very happy and having a lot of fun.

Have to respectfully disagree with you on the current state of Powerboat, though. I think Jason Johnson and the rest of the crew are doing a good job and I liked the first issue they put out under the new publisher. l

Without question, Sportboat and Powerboat are different. But options and choices are a good thing, right?

Not sure how long you where there but I have been reading it for 25 yrs and how on earth could you have stayed on to the end s it was only for example may/ june was 74 pages and out of 74pages 32 were advertising , truly a joke and not worth paper it was printed on . No way you could have been there and been proud of what you guys did to PB mag .
