Have you run faster since?
Keep in mind, on this Black Thunder, as well as having a full sit down interior (not cover girl) the exhaust is running thru full time mufflers, not straight thru the transom. In my opinion, this alone, is very note worthy.

Gotcha. We have the porta potti as well (they didn't build many 36's with heads). I guess it is all about personal preference.
Hell, my boat doesn't have cup holders which I am sure some people would think is strange (really cuts down on spills and such when running).

Boy, sure can tell it is winter around here LOL..

John Tomlinson said it was like "balancing a knife on a bowling ball". He knew when the hull's limit had been reached and backed off the throttles. Fountain has a dual pad bottom which stabilizes the boat at high speeds. Cig does not have a pad bottom.

Thanks for the post Gary. We're still not sure what changes we're going to do to the boat or if we'll even be at loto next year due to some work I'm pursuing.

Thanks! The 43' with eagle on it is a nice boat. My first ride on a 43' was on that boat. With fresh 525's SC's, it ran close to 90 back in the day.
