Default Sealed gimbal bearing bravo 3

Hello all,

I am getting ready to change my gimbal bearing if it is bad. I went ahead and purchased the bearing and noticed it is a sealed unit.
This maybe a stupid question but since it is sealed I guess I don't need to worry about the position ( grease fitting at 4:00).

Is this correct?

However it did come with the instructions that indicate the old seal does not need to be removed and it is not needed to replace with a new retention seal.

Is this true? Those of you that are now using the new style did you change the seal or leave the old one in?

Thanks
