Monza MX 24 / Twister 24
Hey guys looking for any more info on either the Monza MX24 or Twister 24. Does anyone have any brochures or literature or old photos of either of these classic 24's.
After a little research I have determined that the Monza MX24 was produced in very few numbers in the early 80's and somewhere around 1984-85 Twister (Luxury Marine in Pompano beach, Fl.) apparently purchased the molds from Monza and continued production until apprx. 1997. Also does anyone know if Twister had any connection to Cougar?
Here are pics of both the Monza MX24 and Twister 24.
Thanks to HabanaJoe, Nick K, BennyJr for info
Here is a video from yesterday when I took her out for a ride.

Twister 24
The Twisters were made in Pompano off Copans road, The man who owned the company Maddy was easy to deal with (at least for me). He unfortunately was murdered and found in the trunk of a car.

Angel, love that A-47 boat! Looks like the "Adelphia/Ballistic" 24 Twister I/O I remember. I don't think they had a connection to Cougar. Twister was around from 1984-1997 to the best of my knowledge. Ballistic I/O race boat was a 1992 model year. Boat is now in Hernando Beach, FL. Pretty beat up.
I must say I've owned a few 24x7's and this Twister has impressed me.

my brother had a buddy in Cape Coral/Ft Myers who had a zebra-striped Twister 24 w/twin 2.4's...sick azz ride!
John could run the sh*t out of it....he may still have it somewhere down there.

Angel, the boat is owned by one or two guys, Ron and Chris. Chris owned a Covette shop in Largo, Fl. Ron's number is 352-279-8207. I got the number from Steve Miklos awhile back. I used to have pics of the boat, but lost them. The boat is located near Spring Hill, Fl. (or it was). Ron has info. Boat was on trailer w/engine and gimbal. No drive, steering and other stuff missing. He wanted about 7k. Hull is beat and bottom looked wavy.
