You never know, the lift would go with it. All jokes aside, I would try to find one lift kept out of the salt. That stuff is nasty if not taken care of.

If maintained properly, salt water boats are fine. You might want to remove the bottom paint, you may lose a couple of MPH, although the amount you lose varies, depending who's opinion you ask. Sometimes 2 mph, sometimes 6 mph.

Here's a freshwater one out of Ohio, pretty clean, 496HO's.

Ben The boat is going to be stored and used at my place in Fl Already have the lift Previous salt is not an issue as long as it was maintained You guys leaving the lake saw the Outerlimits for sale? Regards to your family

Not sure, depends on water conditions, how boat is driven, etc. We have sold a few locally in past year and there were no drive issues. Maybe some members on board with 400SS have some input.

Nope, not leaving the lake. The parents are just wanting something smaller so they can go out by themselves. Going to miss the 400ss if it does sell, have not even listed it yet.
The OL will probably be replaced by something else, possibly by a cat. Not sure yet.
Will tell them, hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
