Captain has been arrested and charged with involountary man slaughter, among other things. So has another crew member from the bridge. No, it won't be the end of offshore racing in Italy, one has nothing to do with the other, and I don't see cruises being more expensive either. If anything, they will now have to make an extra effort to get people to buy cruises, since some will see it as an unsafe way of vacationing.

How do they salvage and remove something of this size? I assume the damaged area will be sealed off from the rest of the vessel and the water pumped out, but will a ship laying that far over right itself?
