Default Ekranoplan

Like Werner Von Braun, Rostislav Alekseev was a true visionary. Neither cared for the idealogy of their governments. They wanted only to see their creations built. This is a video of the maiden flight of the first Ekranoplan. Commentary is in English;

I saw that on an episode of weird weapons on the military channel. The russians also considered using it for fast civilian transport, but I think the range wasnt far enough. Just imagine stuffing that sucker into a rogue wave at 300mph! Randy
