Default Desert Storm's New Shootout Course

Jim Nichols and the rest of the crew behind the Desert Storm Poker Run have been hard at work at creating a new course for the Shootout. Check out the story ...

This is a great idea. Last year you had a lot of disappointed participants who prepared for the Shootout and left without ever making one run. If that trend continued it would really be the demise of the Shootout portion of Desert Storm. I like this course and we will see if it is as fast... going west to east might be a tad slower but at least everyone will be able to run.

I look forward to running the event.

Agreed, but it it's as windy as it was last year they'll have to scrub the shootout again. That would be a bummer, but running big speeds in 30- to 35-mph winds would be either a profoundly bad idea.
